I gave my first serious presentation (or as we say over here - Referat) this week. It was on the Marshall Plan. It's a pretty simple concept...the US gave money to Post-WW2-Europe in order to restimulate the global economy. However, in German, even the simplest things can become quite complicated.
I am actually really proud of myself for understanding the concepts and giving a not-so-horrible Referat. It could have been better, but for the first real one of the year - it went well. Referats don't frighten me so much any more now that I have that first one under my belt!
